RRIM's Approach

There are three keywords that describe RRIM's approach to teaching parliamentary procedure to make RONR more accessible to those who don't have the time for a lengthy learning process:

Visualization

Seeing is believing when it comes to parliamentary procedure. RRIM helps the newcomer to parliamentary procedure visualize motions: it creates a physical text image of motions and the associated meeting dialogue in its meeting windows.

Consequently, you will see the motions that you can only read about in reference manuals actually come to life in RRIM.

RRIM takes the mystery out of meetings.

Validation

Feedback is critical to learning. When starting out, the newcomer to parliamentary procedure will rapidly become confused unless there is some method for trying out the newly acquired knowledge. RRIM lets the newcomer give motions a "test drive" by working with predefined scenarios and self-designed meetings.

Tracking

Knowing the current state of affairs in a meeting is critical to being an effective participant. RRIM tracks all motions from their introduction to their final resolution. The many different meeting windows that RRIM provides let you see the status of any motion very quickly as you track its progress from one window to another.
