Self-Designed meetings
RRIM lets you rapidly conduct meetings and test a variety of
combinations of motions. A typical meeting would start with steps such as the
following:
- Select the organization type whose
motions you wish to see during your "meeting".
- Open whichever meeting windows you
want to use to watch your meeting progress.
- Start the meeting by selecting "Call meeting to order" from the
Meeting menu.
- Begin by selecting a motion (for example, the Main motion) from the
Motions menu.
- Proceed by selecting Second the motion from the Meeting menu.
- Select State the question from the Meeting menu to simulate the
chair's dialogue meeting action.
- Continue by choosing other motions (for example, Amend) or other
meeting actions, or have the chair put the question. Experiment!
While you are conducting your meeting, you can count on RRIM to
validate your motions. If you make a procedural error every now and
then, RRIM will immediately give you feedback and explain the error.
