You're in charge

RRIM is designed to let you control your own meetings:

• Call your meeting to order
• Select the motion that you want to make
• Second the motion (where required)
• Have the chair state the question to place it before the assembly
• Allow discussion to occur
• Select additional motions that can temporarily set aside discussion of the current motion
• Have the chair put the question before the assembly for a vote
• Announce the results

All of these actions are under your control. You work at your own pace. You will see the motion text, the chair's dialogue, results of votes, and helpful annotation as you go. You benefit because you can work through your meetings one step at a time, viewing every change as it happens.

You're in charge: another perspective

You have the flexibility to try any combination of motions, including those that are not allowed. RRIM does not force you to do anything. If you make a procedural error, RRIM immediately checks for the validity of the motion and gives you feedback explaining the error.

Meeting options

RRIM gives you many options while conducting your meetings. For example, RRIM lets you adjust the outcomes of vote results to ayes or noes, or allow the computer to randomly pick the results. You may also have the chair arbitrarily rule a motion out of order for the purpose of testing appeals.

Personalize your meetings

One special aspect of RRIM is the way it allows you to personalize your meetings. You may define an organization with your own club or association's name and membership characteristics, and you may create your own Main motion scripts that reflect issues of interest to you.

Keep a record

As you work through meetings, you can create log files and print out formatted reports of the meetings. In effect, you can script your meetings before they even occur.
