The free version of RRIM is a great bargain. It will help you practice and understand the concepts of the main motion and the amendments to the main motion. This is probably all that ever happens in 90% of all meetings that are based on parliamentary procedure.

Download the Robert's Rules in Motion demo. The demo version of RRIM includes all of the features of RRIM: You will be able to start meetings, move and amend main motions, and adjourn your meetings. You will need to purchase RRIM to use the full set of RONR motions.

This demo runs on a Windows 95/98/NT-based PC.

Save the RobDemo.exe file to any directory (for example, temp or download) on your PC. The file will only take about 10 minutes with a 33KB modem to download.

After downloading:

1. You may use (a) the Start button, select Run, then browse and navigate to the download directory or (b) Windows Explorer to navigate to the download directory.
2. Start the RobDemo.exe program to install Roberts Rules in Motion.
3. Answer the prompts as the installation progresses.

After running the installation, you will see the RRIM icon on your Windows desktop. Click it to run. You will also see the file named "RobDemo.doc" in the directory where you installed RRIM. This is the tutorial for using the RRIM demo program. It's a Wordpad file, so you may open it and print it on any Windows PC.

After the installation, the program will typically reside in the "C:\Roberts" directory.

The demo installation includes an uninstaller in the directory where RRIM was installed, so you can remove the demo program after you have completed your testing.
